Recently leaks of the ZTE Axon 2, especially with the handset passing through TENAA certification, tell us that the Axon 2 is one smartphone we should look out for when it launches in the future. Zeng Xuezhong, the Chinese OEM’s CEO has uploaded a teaser of the Axon 2 online, and it isn’t any ordinary teaser.
The ZTE CEO posted an image, teasing a Axon 2’s bottom, but had it sandwiched between the iPhone 6s and the Huawei P9, comparing all three handsets side by side. First of all, the bottom design of the Huawei P9 was clearly borrowed, if not copied on purpose, from the iPhone 6s. Both devices sport a speaker grille, a charging port flanged by two screw and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the other end. In fact, the both handsets feature the same star-shaped screws.
Meanwhile, the bottom of the ZTE Axon 2 looks way cleaner than the iPhone and the P9, without any need of screws. The speaker grilles of the device is placed above and below the QHD display on the front instead. As leaked recently, the Axon 2 is said to sport a Snapdragon 820 SoC alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device will be switching to a single 20MP primary camera, replacing the dual-camera setup of 13MP+2MP on its predecessor. Coupled with the 20MP rear camera is an 8MP selfie shooter. What do you think?
