It has been months since ZOTAC has unveiled its gaming handheld at COMPUTEX this year, the company is finally ready to launch in Malaysia before the year ends as it has begun accepting preorders for the ZOTAC GAMING Zone.
The Zone is a serious contender to the ASUS ROG Ally X, as it boasts a newer AMD Ryzen 7 8840U chipset that’s got better power efficiency and graphics power than the Z1 Extreme, its 7-inch Full HD AMOLED screen that refreshes at 120Hz at 800 nits is also one thing to be excited at. Other than that, the Zone comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD.
Compared to other gaming handhelds in the market, the ZOTAC GAMING Zone has several attractive features, including dual USB 4 ports on the top, 2-stage adjustable triggers, hall effect sensors and dual trackpads. The Zone is also ready for productivity and streaming with a front facing webcam for video calls, a fingerprint reader is also available for fast login, and finally, there’s a built-in kickstand that makes it stand on the table.
The ZOTAC GAMING Zone will be generally available on 13th December 2024 at authorized resellers nationwide for RM3,899, while optional accessories such as it’s carrying case and docking station will be sold for RM189 and RM289 respectively. For a limited time, preorder customers will receive a free carrying case and get to PWP the docking station for RM199 when they purchase the gaming handheld.
