NVIDIA may have made the best GPU with the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, ZOTAC has taken performance of the original GTX 1080 Ti to the next level with its AMP and AMP Extreme edition graphics card, which ZOTAC has officially launched in Malaysia today, these graphics cards are factory overclocked and have significant performance improvements over the Founders Edition while having improved cooling efficiency with ZOTAC’s IceStorm cooling system and wide blade fans.
In terms of specifications, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition features a base and boost clock of 1569 MHz and 1683 MHz respectively, while the AMP Extreme Edition gets a base and boost clock of 1645 MHz and 1759 MHz, which technically give the user around 5-10% of clock speed improvements over the Founders Edition card, the AMP Extreme Edition will also feature a slight boost in memory clock at 11.2 Gbps. Last but not the least, ZOTAC’s AMP and AMP Extreme GTX 1080 Ti uses a 16 + 2 power phase for better power delivery and ensures stability in performance.
ZOTAC will start selling the GTX 1080 Ti AMP and AMP Extreme Edition at various IT retail stores and custom PC shop in Malaysia today, the GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition retails at RM3,769 and the AMP Extreme Edition retails at RM3,999. Meanwhile, ZOTAC has also announced the GTX 1080 AMP+ and AMP Extreme+ editions of the GTX 1080 with increased memory speed of 9 Gbps and 11 Gbps respectively, these cards will also be available soon as well.
