While ZenBooks have technically been lightweight with less powerful hardware, ASUS has unveiled its most powerful ZenBook ever today at its Computex press conference, the ZenBook Pro is a 15-inch notebook with a 1.8kg weight and 18.9mm slim body profile, it comes equipped with the Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, a 1TB PCI-E SSD and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, the notebook’s display comes with a gorgeous 4K resolution and features the company’s NanoEdge display, which makes it as compact as a 14-inch notebook despite of the huge screen size, you can also do some decent gaming on this as it has a GeForce GTX 1050Ti onboard.
The ZenBook Pro will rival against machines like the Dell XPS 15 and 15-inch MacBook Pro, and ASUS has packed pretty impressive features apart from a powerful specs sheet, such as having up to 14-hours of battery life with fast charge support, which gives users 60% of battery with a mere 49-minute charge time. The ZenBook Pro also has the ZenBook 3 Deluxe’s quad-speaker configuration tuned by Harman/Kardon, it supports Windows Hello with a fingerprint sensor located at the Windows Precision trackpad, there’s also Thunderbolt 3 support on its USB-C port which will support external GPU enclosures.
Like other ZenBook siblings, the ZenBook Pro will be available soon later this year and will retail from US$1,299 (RM5,544).
