The latest firmware update for the PlayStation 4 (version 7.00) will introduce Remote Play support for Android devices – the catch is that it needs to be Android 5 and above, not a big problem since most people have Android 7 and above anyway.
All you need to do is download the PS4 Remote Play app from the Google Play store to get access to the feature.
It’s been available for iPhone and iPad since early this year, so this has lost a bit of its novelty, but still cool anyway since Android users can finally join the party.
Other updates include improvements to the Party feature that now allows up to 16 users. The update should roll out to your devices soon so keep an eye out.
