2017 has so far been treating Xiaomi good, with the company announcing a bunch of still affordable but fairly impressive smartphones. Xiaomi does not intend to rest of its laurels, and has posted up a teaser for something that will be unveiled this November 2 in India. Could it be a series of smartphones?
Redmi India has posted the teaser on Twitter, stating that a brand new series will be coming our way, with a #YourBestSelfie hashtag, which might suggest a whole new line of upcoming handsets that are selfie centric. The logo in the teaser image is a giveaway though, largely hinting at a MIUI 9 launch as well.
India is probably Xiaomi’s most important market for its smartphones after China, which tells us that it is possible for the Chinese manufacturer to launch brand new smartphones in India instead of China. There hasn’t been rumors so far regarding a whole new series of Xiaomi handsets, but anything is possible in the world of technology.
