An upcoming Xiaomi smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China, carrying the model number M1904F3BC. While the identity of the smartphone has not been confirmed, it is being speculated that M1904F3BC could be the rumored Mi CC9e.
According to the images published by TENAA, Mi CC9e will come with a waterdrop notch display and a triple-camera setup at the rear. The smartphone may include an in-display fingerprint scanner as well, since we do not see any fingerprint sensor at the back. While the resolution of all three sensors is yet to be confirmed, the text next to the cameras confirms the smartphone will have a 48MP primary sensor with several AI-backed features.
In addition to the design of the upcoming smartphone, TENAA has also listed some key specifications on its website. The listing claims the smartphone sports a 6.39-inch display, although the resolution has not been revealed yet. As far as the physical dimensions of the smartphone are concerned, TENAA reveals it measures 156.8 x 74.5 x 8.67mm. Fueling the smartphone’s internals will be a 3900mAh capacity battery, supporting up to 18W fast charging.
The Mi CC9e is expected to be the first Xiaomi smartphone designed in partnership with Meitu. Xiaomi had acquired Meitu in November last year. Rumors suggest the Mi CC9e will feature a 32MP selfie snapper with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology and camera software developed by Meitu.
