Xiaomi is bringing its next smartphone up onto the dual camera bandwagon, and it will be revealed on July 26. Earlier this year, the Chinese manufacturer unveiled the Mi 6, Redmi Note 4 and the Mi Max 2. The Mi 5X will finally make its appearance a week from now as Xiaomi gears up for its launch.
Xiaomi posted a teaser image on its official Weibo account, which shows the phone in all its glory. The Mi 5X according to the image sports a dual rear camera setup which looks similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus. The metal unibody device also features a rear fingerprint sensor as seen in the picture.
The Mi 5X is rumored to have a 5.5-inch display in Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The phone is predicted to be the first ever Xiaomi device to run on its MIUI 9 software, which is set for a release on the same day.
The handset is also expected to carry a budget price tag, rumored to be around RM 1,300 based on conversion. All we do know now is that the Mi 5X will feature a dual rear camera setup and will be revealed on the 26th of July.
