The Xiaomi Mi flagship series smartphones are popular because they offer premium hardware at wallet-friendly prices – with the exception of the Mi 10 because it comes with 5G.
To be fair, very brand had to bump up prices when launching their new 5G devices this year because that’s just how expensive the technology is when you pair them with all the bells and whistles of a premium phone.
Mi 11 (tentatively named) has been sent to the Internet for filing, and it is estimated that it will be announced next month, and the production capacity will start to climb [吃瓜]

Next year however, with 5G chips becoming more accessible thanks to more options, we could see 5G premium phones becoming cheaper – one of those phones could very well be the Xiaomi Mi 11. It’s touted to launch as early as January and offer a slightly improved experience over the Mi 10.
It comes with a QHD+ 120Hz display along with a 50MP camera setup. Under the hood, we can expect it to pack the Snapdragon 875 chipset, but we’re hoping this time, Xiaomi returns to its roots, by offering the Mi 11 at lower prices compared to 2021’s other flagships.
