Xiaomi Mi 11 launched globally with a built-in heart rate monitor

Xiaomi finally launched the Mi 11 that was unveiled in China about a month ago — the new flagship features top-notch specs from charging, display to performance and camera.

Mi 11 – 120Hz display, WQHD+ resolution, 10-bit colour

The Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display that supports DCI-P3 and 10-bit colour. It also supports HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate with 480Hz touch sampling rate. This time, the Mi 11’s in-screen fingerprint sensor also comes with a built-in heart rate monitor so users can also gain some health features with the phone. 

Powerful chip paired with fast charging

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, the Mi 11 has an Arm Cortex-X1 core that offers 30% faster performance as compared to its predecessors. It also uses a LiquidCool heat dissipation system for extended gaming sessions and a X60 5G modem. In addition to that, the Mi 11 has a 4,600mAh battery that supports 55W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.

Impressive camera with more videography features

In terms of imaging, the Mi 11 has a 108MP main camera paired with a 13MP ultra wide lens and a 5MP telemacro camera. Xiaomi boasts its Ultra Night Mode that allows the phone to capture videos in great details despite being in really dark situations. The company also introduced a feature called the ‘One-click AI cinema’ — users are given 8 different video effects that can be created with just a click. On the front, the Mi 11 sports a 20MP camera.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal local pricing

The Mi 11 comes with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage; it starts at the price of €749 which is round RM3,662, but its official local price hasn’t been revealed yet.
