Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi 11 will be launching in Malaysia this February 25. The livestream will take place via the brand’s Facebook page at 8PM.
Specs
To recap, the Mi 11 ships with a massive 6.81-inch 120Hz WQHD+ AMOLED display that supports DCI-P3 and 10-bit colour space. What’s unique about the panel is that the in-screen fingerprint scanner also doubles as a heart-rate monitor – useful for an increasingly health-conscious society.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is arguably the most powerful chipset to date. When it was launched globally, the phone came in two memory variants – 8GB and 12GB, both packing 256GB of internal storage.
When it comes to imaging, the phone packs a whopping 108MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP telemacro camera. Over on the front is a 20MP shooter as well.
Expected price
In Europe, the phone is priced from €749 Euro (about RM3,657); it’ll likely cost less here in Malaysia since European pricings take into account VAT rates, but in any case, we’ll know soon what the local pricing is when it launches this 25 February.
