Xiaomi ends the Mi Max and Mi Note series; introduces a new Mi CC series

Bad news for some Xiaomi fans, Xiaomi plans to stop its Mi Max and Mi Note series. This means that the Mi Max 3 and the Mi Note 3 will be the last of each series.

This information has been confirmed by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun, as the company plans to focus on the other series. However, every cloud has a silver lining, including this. Xiaomi is planning to release a new series called CC series.

The Redmi K20 series was a hit recently and when it reached Malaysia, it’s dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 9T. Perhaps Xiaomi wants to replace its older series with these new series to accommodate to the current market needs, but we still have no information regarding the new CC series.

There are rumours that suggest the Mi CC series to come with a flip camera mechanism, much like the Asus ZenFone 6, but that’s all the information we have so far. We’ll definitely be keeping up with the Mi CC series, so stay tuned for more information.
