Xiaomi has just unveiled two of its most anticipated devices recently. Both the Mi MIX 2 and the Mi Note 3 are impressive in their own strides, of course catering to different segments in the smartphone market. A new Xiaomi smartphone has emerged in terms of a benchmark test on GFXBench, a hint of what might be another device by the company in the pipeline

The alleged Xiaomi device goes with its codename of “Chiron” on the GFXBench benchmark. The Xiaomi Chiron could most likely be a variant from the company’s flagship lineup (Mi 6 this year), the Redmi series or a different model of the newly launched Mi Note 3. Regardless, it is worth noting that the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, alongside 6GB of RAM and a massive 256GB of internal storage.

The 5.6-inch display with the odd 1980 x 1080 resolution is most likely a typing error, meaning the screen is of standard Full HD resolution. The rear camera is of 12 megapixels, coupled with the 5MP selfie camera, which makes it rather fishy considering the fact that it runs a flagship processor.

We hope to see more news regarding this Chiron device by Xiaomi. Are you curious to know what the handset will turn out to be?
