Xiaomi Malaysia has just brought the Mi Band Pulse to local shores not too long ago, which is technically a Mi Band with a heart rate sensor. The Mi Band 2 is rumored to sport a display, and it looks like it’s true, coming from none other than the boss of the Chinese manufacturer itself.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun was caught with a Mi Band 2 wrapped around his wrist at a conference held in China this week. Well, he wasn’t exactly caught, instead he flaunted the Mi Band 2 in all its wearable glory. The Xiaomi CEO was allegedly posing for the camera with the Mi Band 2 his wrist. Based on the image sourced from Chinese site MyDrivers, we can see that the Mi Band 2 seems to be featuring the same strap of the Mi Band, with an additional display squeezed into the small factor of the wearable. A physical button is also seen on the Mi Band 2, which is likely used for navigating through the display itself. Hence, the display on the Mi Band 2 might not be a touch panel, saving a significant amount of battery usage.

Well, it looks like Lei Jun won’t be fired from Xiaomi for showing off an unreleased device since there isn’t anyone sack him off. What do you think of the Mi Band 2?
