A lucky customer in Peru has managed to get his hands on the unreleased Xiaomi 12T flagship, which is expected to only debut in the coming weeks, and we now know what the phone will actually come with.
The Xiaomi 12T doesn’t seem to stray too faraway from the outgoing Xiaomi 12 in terms of its rear design, it is expected to come with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, an 108MP main camera that’s complemented by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor, selfies are serviced by a 20MP camera.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 12T will be powered by a Mediatek Dimesnity 8100 Ultra instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, there’s also 8GB RAM and available in 256GB and 512GB storage options, while it has a whooping 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
Like the outgoing Xiaomi 11T, the Xiaomi 12T isn’t going to replace the Xiaomi 12 when it comes to its feature set, while it does come with a larger battery and faster charging than its non-T sibling, we do expect it to be also priced more affordably than the Xiaomi 12 since it uses a Mediatek chipset.
The customer reports that the Xiaomi 12T with 8GB+256GB storage is purchased for US$616, which converts to RM2772 and shouldn’t be that pricey when it officially debuts.
