The world’s largest MSI concept store opens doors in Malaysia

MSI has been making huge progress in the gaming scene, and it has today chose Malaysia to open its largest concept store in the world. The MSI Concept Store is operated by SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd, it is a two floor building which consist of both a retail experience area and a stadium for hosting competitive plays, there’s also a VR experience area where gamers can try out the VR One Backpack Gaming PC, the store will also sell peripherals and PC components such as SteelSeries headsets, gaming keyboards, gaming mouse, PC motherboards and graphics cards.

In conjunction with the launch, MSI has also taken the opportunity to launch the console sized Vortex G25 gaming PC, which we have reported last week. The reason why MSI calls this the G25 because it is a powerful gaming PC in a 2.5-liter chassis and weighs merely 2.5kg, the Vortex G25 is powered by Intel’s Coffee Lake processor and comes in both Core i5 and Core i7 models, it also supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU.

What makes the Vortex G25 really special among other competitors is its efficient cooling system, which consist of eight heatpipes and dual whirlwind blades to effectively dissipate heat for great system performance, gamers are also able to access the internals of the machines by simply removing four tool-less screws, it can also be mounted to the back of a monitor with its VESA mount. Like other MSI gaming VR ready desktops, the Vortex G25 comes with a dedicated 12V power output and a HDMI port on the front for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

The Vortex G25 is currently available for purchase over at the MSI Concept Store outside Low Yat Plaza, MSI is also having a number of grand opening promotions and will have gaming tournaments held every weekend at the stadium on the second floor, make sure you pay a visit there and check it out.
