A recent research by Lenovo has revealed that working from home may not as bad as some may expect. It’s now the fourth week since we Malaysians are working from home and based on the research, some employees think that their productivity may have increased.

With research subjects from the U.S., Italy, Germany, China and Japan, 48% have reported that their productivity remained at the same level when they’re working at home, while another 15% reported an increase in productivity.

On the other hand, 95% of the companies are also trying to ensure that their employees can carry out their daily work tasks at home by providing them with the necessary equipment. As the pandemic continues to restrict everyone from traveling, majority of the respondents (77%) believe that this will change employers’ perception of remote-work policies.

After all, if employees are capable of working from home without affecting their productivity, it could also boost their morale in the future if employers are more receptive towards the idea of remote working.
