Microsoft’s newest update continues to show problematic issues, and the latest problem found is regarding the Intel drivers.

According to Microsoft, the Intel display drivers automatically release versions of the display drivers that cause unsupported features to be turned on in Windows. This means that the audio playback will not function properly or might not function at all when devices are connected to PCs via HDMI, USB-C and DisplayPort.

Microsoft also placed an upgrade block to prevent more users from being affected with the same issue. Currently, Microsoft is already trying to terminate the display drivers with Intel and they will announce an update when they’ve resolved the issue.

The Windows 10 version 1809 has been very problematic since its initial release, causing a retraction before it is re-released. Even then, a number of issues were discovered by users, which caused Microsoft to put several upgrade blocks. The best decision right now is to put the update on hold and update your Windows at a much later period when everything finally stabilises.
