Webe has yet again come out with another announcement for a new product that they are offering catered particularly towards gamers called Direct Carrier Billing(DCB). This new service will help gamers to purchase online games or in-app purchases from Google Play by adding the purchase to their monthly phone bill, eliminating the use of credit cards. In addition, customers can use this service to also purchase video content, magazine subscriptions, books and other apps through this service.
With the increasing number of people playing mobile games such as Mobile Legends, the online gaming community has been benefiting from webe’s unlimited data plans to play games anytime, with the inclusion of the DCB it will give them more flexibility on how they play and fund their passion. Nazeem Nasir, Chief Marketing Officer of webe has stated that they are giving alternatives to members that do not want to share their credit card details with third parties and with the lack of support from banks to purchase game related products, this would make the perfect solution for these members.
Here’s how webe members can enjoy the DCB service:
- webe members can easily activate DCB on their Android handphones by adding ‘use webe billing’ in the payment methods of their Google Play account menu.
- Once the activation is complete, it takes only a simple click on the ‘Buy’ button on their favourite Google Play game, in app purchase or content; select ‘bill my webe account’; and provide their Google account password to confirm the purchase.
