What was first known as iQOO Youth Edition has now been dubbed iQOO Neo, the second gaming smartphone that vivo plans to release. It’s now announced to be launched in Chengdu, China on July 2 — just three months after the launch of the first vivo gaming phone.
The iQOO Neo is expected to sport a 6.38-inch AMOLED screen and just like the iQOO, it’ll come with ultra-thin bezels. In addition to that, we’re also expecting an under-display fingerprint scanner paired with a waterdrop notch design.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo will be equipped with a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Naturally, it’ll be shipped with Android 9 Pie but what’s important is that iQOO Neo will come with 4D Smart Shock 2.0 — an improved version of the feature that will enhance gaming experience.
Apart from that, iQOO Neo is said to come with a triple rear camera setup and a 4,500mAh battery befitting for a gaming smartphone. If previous rumours were true, the iQOO Neo should be priced at CNY1,998.
