The vivo Y32 has officially been announced in China, which makes this the first smartphone to use a Snapdragon 620 chipset. vivo’s Y series was known to be their more affordable smartphones, and back in March this year, vivo had launched Y31, so let’s see what upgrades the Y32 has in store.

As for the design of the vivo Y32, it comes in a thin and light form factor, with a glossy back panel that measures 8mm thin and weighs 182g. It is also available in two colors – Harumi Blue and Foggy Night.

vivo Y32This phone also has a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display that pushes a 60Hz refresh rate and includes a waterdrop notch on the top which houses an 8MP front camera. While on the back, it comes with a dual-camera system that features a 13MP main shooter, and a 2MP macro lens.

vivo Y32As for the internal specifications of the vivo Y32, it comes with the aforementioned Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card. In terms of the battery, the phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via a USB-C.

vivo Y32This device also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face recognition. Although the phone does not support 5G, it does have dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. Additionally, the vivo Y32 is priced at CNY1,399 (roughly RM927), with no news when it will be available on the market, so stay tuned for more updates.
