Vivo X50 5G series is coming to Malaysia with its unique gimbal-like camera

It’s official – the vivo X50 series, which was launched last month, will be arriving to local shores soon, bringing with it new 5G smartphones options to the country.

vivo X50

The regular vivo X50 comes with a 6.56-inch FHD+ display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate. For imaging it has a 48MP quad camera system with a 13MP portrait camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. For selfies, the phone offers a very capable 32MP camera too.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 765 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Powering the device is a 4,315mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

vivo X50 Pro

The vivo X50 Pro ups the ante in the camera department with a gimbal-like OIS system that offers steadier shots. It also replaces the 5MP macro lens with an 8MP periscope camera too. For selfies, you get the same 32MP front lens.

Elsewhere, the vivo X50 Pro packs the same impressive hardware as its sibling – a 6.56-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, with the same Snapdragon 765 chipset, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The official vivo Store did not show the vivo X50 Pro+, which is the flagship variant, so we’ll have to assume for now that it’ll come at a later date. We also don’t know its official launch date, but you can expect it to arrive sometime mid-July. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more details and official pricing as they come.
