Vivo X Fold is set to be a killer foldable phone, launching on 11th April in China

After seeing much success from Samsung’s Z Fold 3, we are looking at more similar form factors from Chinese manufacturers in recent times, and Vivo is set to announce its own foldable known as the Vivo X Fold on 11th April in China.

A leaked photo of the Vivo X Fold’s marketing material has leaked online giving us a good glimpse of what we can expect from the Vivo X Fold, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and features a 2K+ 120Hz E5 AMOLED ultra thin glass display, which has received 19 A+ certifications from DisplayMate, there’s also a ZEISS certified 50MP OIS primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide and a 60X periscope zoom camera, which could make it the best camera system on a foldable phone.

The Vivo X Fold will come with a 4600mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging, which goes hand in hand with the Honor Magic V that was already announced in China.

With all these confirmed specs and features, the Vivo X Fold is set to be the most powerful foldable phone in existence and it sure beats the Z Fold 3 in many ways, though the only question left now is whether the phone will make it out of China and how much Vivo intends to sell, which we believe it will not come cheap.
