Apple WWDC 2022 is set to happen on June 6

Apple has officially announced the date for its annual Worldwide Developer Conference event, which is set to happen on June 6 to 10 this year and as usual, we will be introduced to the company’s latest software and services effort, though we don’t expect to see any hardware announcements during the event, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has speculated that Apple might take the opportunity to introduce new Apple Silicon Macs that’s targeted at developers – Mac Pro anyone?

The event will be an all-online format just like last year, although Apple says that it will host limited spaces for developers and students to be at Apple Park on June 6 to watch the keynote and State of the Unions video, which interested parties can find out soon on how to attend on the Apple Developer site.

As usual, we are looking to announcements of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS 13 during the keynote, WWDC will also offer developers access to Apple engineers during the period and a Swift Student Challenge for students to  to submit their app ideas and creation programmed with Swift.

More details on WWDC 2022 will be shared on the Apple Developer site as the date draws nearer, and we should be looking at some interesting leaks as well, which we definitely can’t wait to see how Apple has improved its software.
