vivo has introduced the V40 Lite, an entry-level model within the V40 series that boasts portrait photography features at an accessible price, though it lacks the higher end siblings’ ZEISS cameras, the V40 Lite has the Aura Light Portrait ring light that can automatically adjust between warm and cold light to brighten portraits in low light.
The vivo V40 Lite is also the first Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 powered device to be launched in Malaysia, paired to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, it has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness fo 1200nits, durability is also ensured with IP64 dust and water resistance, a 5000mAh battery with a 4-year rated lifespan and supports 80W vivo FlashCharge.
In terms of cameras, you are getting a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide camera on the back, while the front camera still takes a decent 32MP resolution, aside from missing out ZEISS certification, the phone has a modest portrait mode without the stylish ZEISS Style bokeh effects, but you should still get decent looking portraits nonetheless.
