Vivo has just unveiled what can be considered one of their best looking phone, the V7 Plus. The phone has an almost full-screen display similar to what we have seen on the Galaxy S8 making them the next phone manufacturer to show off this screen type.

The phone will come with a 5.99-inch 18:9 ratio full view display technology which gives only 2.15mm of bezel size on the sides of the phone. This equates to an 84.4% screen to body ratio to give you more space to do multitasking. What Vivo has emphasised in this phone is the front-facing camera which is a whopping 24MP moonlight selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0, allowing you to take pictures even in low light environments. There is also a beautifying effect called Face Beauty 7.0 to make your skin smooth and remove blemishes, this feature will also work even in video calls allowing you to adjust the effect while in the middle of a call. The rear camera is a 16MP camera with which also has an aperture of f/2.0 and quick focus so you never miss the crucial moments. The phone comes equipped with the new Snapdragon 450 processor, 3225mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Not only can you unlock the phone using the fingerprint sensor located on the back, but it has a feature called Face Access which Vivo boast will accurately detect your face to unlock the phone. For music lovers, Vivo has equipped the phone with a new HiFi music chip that they mention will give you a better sounding quality and better immerse you in the sound.

The phone will come in two colours Matte Black, Champagne Gold and will retail for Rs. 21,990 (RM1446.88). Currently, its available for pre-order in India starting today and will release on 15 September. They did not mention a global release but taking a look at Vivo trend when pricing the phone, we assume that the price will be RM1499. We will be sure to update you when more details on the local release and pricing when it officially comes out.

Hey KLgadgetguy, how soon would U expect the spectre x360 to reach M’sia? My Dell Studio15 suddenly went kaput 2 weeks ago & I’m almost 90% goin for Lenovo Yoga314. With a budget of RM3,000, perhaps stretch a tiny bit, do U you think the Spectre will hit within that range when it’s marketed here?
