Vivo Malaysia have announced today that the vivo S1 Pro will be unveiled this 3 December.

We recently wrote about the possibility of the device coming to the country after appearing in the Philippines first, and it looks like we were right. The device is simply a one-step-up from the regular vivo S1 and will pack a few improvements.

One noticeable change is a diamond-shaped camera module that houses a quad-lens setup. One of which will be a 48MP shooter alongside an 8MP superwide lens. The other two remains a mystery for now, but we’ll know when the device launches. At the front is the same 32MP selfie lens.

Also similar is the phone’s 6.38-inch Super AMOLED drop notch display. It pushes a 1080p resolution with a 404 ppi pixel density.

Under the hood is where things change again – there will be a more capable Snapdragon 665 chipset alongside 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.

The S1 Pro will have a 4,500mAh battery like the regular version, but this time, it’ll charge via USB C instead of the older micro USB.

It’s not long until we get a look at the final product, so stay tuned on our website as we bring you the updates.
