Vivo launches the S1 Pro in Malaysia with a unique 48MP quad camera

After five months, the pro version of the vivo S1 is finally launched in Malaysia with quite a number of upgrades.

The vivo S1 Pro is similar to the S1 display-wise; it has a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. On the left side of the phone, there’s a SIM tray that supports dual SIM, but the second slot can also be used to expand its storage.

The vivo S1 Pro has a unique design as it comes with a diamond quad-camera design — inspired by images of jewellery and royal palaces. It is available in two colours; the Fancy Sky variant has a blend of pastel colours while the Knight Sky is a sleek, black design.

Apart from design, vivo has also upgraded the specs when it comes to the pro model. The S1 Pro sports 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, in addition to being powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. It has a 4,500mAh battery with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging and also ships with Funtouch OS 9.2.

The S1 Pro now has a 48MP main camera, alongside an 8MP super wide-angle lens, a 2MP super macro lens and a 2MP portrait lens. On its front, the S1 Pro has a 32MP selfie camera that supports the selfie feature from vivo called Pose Master — a feature that is seen on the V17 Pro.

The vivo S1 Pro will be available at RM1,199 from December 7 onwards. Vivo will also be having the S1 Pro Superday sales on December 7 at Central I-City with a lucky draw and exclusive limited rebate promotion.
