The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is Malaysia’s first 108MP camera, and it’s now officially launched – priced from RM2,099

Xiaomi has finally brought the Mi Note 10 to the country, meaning we can now get our hands on the world’s first 108MP camera smartphone.

The phone is equipped with five lenses – the main is of course the 108MP shooter, that’s powered by a Samsung Bright ISOCELL HMX sensor. The other lenses include two telephoto lenses – a 12MP shooter for your portrait shots at 2x zoom, and another 5MP lens for your general zooming. To round up the setup are a 20MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro was also announced – this comes with an 8P lens as opposed to the regular version’s 7P lens.

For selfies, you get a 32MP drop notch shooter. The display here is an impressive-looking 6.47-inch 3D curved display that’s somewhat reminiscent of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10. On the back is all glass, while aluminum bumpers add a matte accent to the design.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 730G chipset, meaning the Mi Note 10 is an upper mid-range deive. You also get 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Mi Note 10 Pro gets 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The phone is powered with a massive 5,260mAh battery that charges via USB C, and supports up to 30W fast charging.

The phone supports face unlock as well as an in-screen fingerprint reader; while running on MUI 11 based on Android 9.

You get the phone in Aurora Green, Glacier White and Midnight Black. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is priced at RM2,099 while the Mi Note 10 Pro is priced at RM2,499 – both devices will be available this December 7.
