Vivo is on its way to introducing the next successor of its flagship series, the Vivo NEX 3. The Vivo NEX was the first phone that came out with a pop-up selfie camera and Vivo even came out with a Vivo NEX dual-screen — that obviously like its name, has two displays — at the end of last year.
A Weibo user that goes by the name IT 科技站 (IT Station) revealed several specifications and diagrams of the Vivo NEX 3. The device is expected to sport a Snapdragon 855+ chipset paired with 5G support and come with a 99.6% screen-to-body ratio due to its waterfall display.
Although the full specs sheet has yet to be revealed, the NEX 3 is reported to have a 64MP camera and based on the diagrams included in the post, it seems that Vivo is planning to integrate a triple camera setup in a circular array. It was also said that the phone will be supporting 44W fast charge, though its battery size isn’t mentioned.
If we’re lucky, Vivo might even launch the NEX 3 by the end of this year.
UPDATE: Product Manager of Vivo, Li Xiang confirmed the Vivo NEX 3 to launch in September in China.
