Vivo has recently announced the Vivo X27 and X27 Pro in China earlier today, adding to the already saturated mid-range market.
It needs to be said however, the Vivo X series typically places at the upper-mid segment range like 2018’s Vivo X21; and it shows in the specs. Starting with the Vivo X27, the phone comes with a 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED notch-less display.
The phone features a triple-camera setup (48MP + 13MP wide-angle + 5MP depth sensor) as well as a 16MP popup selfie camera. Competitors such as the OPPO F11 Pro and the Redmi Note 7 also sport a 48MP main camera, but the Vivo takes the cake with an extra camera.
The Vivo X27 is powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
As for the Vivo X27 Pro, it sports a much larger 6.7-inch display; and while the back-camera setup is similar, this phone does have a larger 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, you can expect a Snapdragon 710 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
The Vivo X27 and Vivo X27 Pro are priced at 3,198 Yuan (RM1,940) and 3,598 Yuan (RM2,183) respectively; which is a steal considering the impressive specs the phones boast. There are no official Malaysian release dates yet, but if it does come to local shores, we can see a neck-and-neck tussle with Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy A50.
