On 30 December, vivo launched their concept store in Sunway Pyramid, making it the first upgraded vivo concept store in Klang Valley.
The opening of the new vivo concept store was attended by Mike Xu, vivo Malaysia’s CEO and also Kelvin Lee, the director of Access Mobile Marketing Sdn Bhd.
According to Xu, there are already more than 110 vivo concept stores in Malaysia, though the one in Sunway Pyramid will be the first to come with an upgraded design and concept.
With the new store, the company plans to sell more vivo products instead of just focusing on vivo smartphones, as vivo’s brand spirit is to pursue perfection and provide constant surprises to the consumers.
That aside, the Sunway Pyramid vivo concept store lets vivo fans to charge and disinfect their vivo smartphones in the store, which aligns with their goal to provide better service and better consumer experience.
The best innovation in technology that the brand has brought to consumers so far is its in-display fingerprint scanning and also elevating camera, but Xu said that in 2019, consumers should expect better AI technology and also 5G support in the vivo smartphones.
CEO Mike Xu also stated that consumers will be seeing more devices from the Y series, V series and NEX series in 2019.
