Vivo unveils 120W Super FlashCharge tech

It’s the battle of the 100W fast chargers and vivo weighs in with their whopping 120W Super FlashCharge tech that the company claims can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 13 minutes.

We’ve seen the tech make its appearance previously on the vivo APEX 2020 and was showed off at MWC last year – but as the device was a concept smartphone, we had to assume the 120W charger to be merely a tech demo too. But it’s not official and vivo confirms that we can see it arrive with a new iQOO, a vivo sub-brand, flagship smartphone soon.

To make sure the phone charges safely, vivo also will come with a VC liquid cooling system that helps regulate the phone’s temperature while fast charging.

As iQOO smartphones don’t make their way into the country, we’re eagerly anticipating for the first vivo device to pack this fast charging support.
