Are you a fan of aritificial intelligence? If you are, then mark down Monday on your calendar as Viv Labs has announced that they will be debuting the next generation of AI assistance on Monday.
This wouldn’t be the first time Viv Labs have worked on AI assistant of course, as one of their earlier projects is a little known feature called Siri. Viv Labs has confirmed that roughly a third of the team behind Siri is working on the latest AI assistant, and they’re expecting this project to be leaps and bounds above what Siri is capable of.
Touted to be what Siri was originally meant to be, the ‘Viv’ personal assistant will be an open system. It will feature deep integration with a variety of third-party apps such as Uber. One example that the ‘Viv’ team gave was that you can use the AI assistant to order a pizza and the assistant would ask what kind of toppings you would like.
Viv Lab’s will be demo-ing the ‘Viv’ AI assistant at TechCrunch Disrupt net Monday.
