Videos showing the gestures for app switching and new location of the Control Center surfaces in the iOS 11 beta

You have probably heard that the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 8 will be removed, so the question that is probably on your mind is how do I switch my apps? Well for future iPhone 8 owners worry not, for there is away and it will be using your swipes.

A developer by the name of Guilherme Rambo has uncovered two new features that will help you navigate the upcoming iPhone in the beta preview.

As you can see, the Control Center gesture has changed, when you swipe from down to up as it brings up the app switcher instead. Worry not, because the Control Center is not removed rather, it has moved to a different part of the phone.

In this video, you can see that on the lock screen, swiping from right to left will display the Control Center and apparently swiping from up to down will actually bring down the lock screen though we are not sure if that is a feature that Apple is planning to keep because it would make more sense to just press the power button to lock the phone.

As usual, time will only tell if these features will actually see the light of day because all these were found in the beta preview and features might be removed or added before the final launch when the iPhone 8 releases.
