Valve’s VR headset could be available this May

The VR fad has died down a bit since the release of Beat Saber; and as most things VR-related go, hype generally doesn’t last long – maybe of course with the exception of the VRChat game thanks to its meme potential.

To reinvigorate public interest in VR technology again is Valve as they’ve hinted at their very own VR headset. The photo shows off the front of the headset along with the date May 2019.

Not much else has been announced, but according to Kotaku, Valve are also releasing their own controllers, which could be used together with this VR headset.

As of right now, the VR headset market are dominated by HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, so we’ll have to wait and see if Valve can somehow innovate with an otherwise stagnant technology.
