Gamers who are always on the go rejoice, U Mobile has launched its Game-Onz plan to offer unlimited gaming for selected PC games from STEAM, Garena and PlayOne Asia, hence there’s no need to worry about limited data quota when you tether your U Mobile data connection to play games. Starting from RM18, gamers will enjoy additional high speed data quota and unlimited Music-Onz streaming data, all they need to do is to fire up the MyUMobile app and select their desired Game-Onz plan. U Mobile Game-Onz will support the following game titles:
- Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2, published by STEAM
- League of Legends and FIFA Online 3, published by Garena
- Blackshot and Echo of Soul, published by PlayOne Asia
With Game-Onz, U Mobile hopes that it will be able to help gamers eliminate connectivity challenges such as weak Wi-Fi hotspot or fixed broadband connection, which usually happens to gamers who are always out and about. On top of that, U Mobile postpaid and prepaid customers will also be able to purchase game credits from MOL and STEAM by charging into their postpaid bills and using their prepaid credit, support for Garena and PlayOne Asia will soon be available as well.
In conjunction with the launch, U Mobile has collaborated with MSI to host the MSI MGA Pacific Championship, which takes place in Berjaya Times Square on 9-11 December 2016, there will be competitve plays of DOTA 2, Street Fighter V and League of Legends.
