U Mobile introduces most affordable high speed data roaming at RM10/day

U Mobile is challenging the competition once again by introducing its all new U Data Roam data roaming plan for an extremely affordable fee at RM10/day, the new roaming plan is available to both U Mobile Postpaid and Prepaid customers who have international roaming enabled on their service, the affordable daily rate is however, only available to 12 selected countries – Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, whereas other supported countries will continue to have a flat rate of RM36/day, nonetheless this is now the most affordable data roaming service ever offered from a Malaysian telco.

A quick check on the telco’s FAQ section reveals that this is a promotion running from 7 April 2016 till 31 December 2016, you will need to lock on your phone’s network to U Mobile’s roaming partner to activate the service, it is also good to note that if you happen not to be on the correct roaming telco, the data service will not be activated and you won’t be getting any bill shocks for such error. Last but not the least, the roaming offer is also applicable to supplementary users, hence all you need to do is to simply ensure international roaming is activated on your member lines.

Of course, if you are not a heavy user, you might want to take note that U Mobile is still offering Free 50MB of data roaming in the 12 countries mentioned above, so make sure you have a data usage tracker in your smartphone to ensure you don’t exceed that limit, this new initiative will certainly benefit frequent travellers who doesn’t want the hassle to switch SIM cards, and it could be even cheaper than purchasing a local SIM pack in that country if you aren’t thinking to travel for long durations. i dun get it when people are keep on condemning..... what do expect for rm1?? hahaha rm 1 is just for those who are not to waste their money to pay bill for roaming and dun want to cut their budget.. so, rm 1 for 30mb is already sufficient.. unless rm 5 for 30mb... looks like useless hahaha
