Twitter has been trying to bring in lots of changes as of recent months, and the newest update discovered is the addition of labels to replies.

According to Twitter, the new update is to ensure that users can easily “follow and join conversations on Twitter”. The new update is also only available to a certain number of users, hence you shouldn’t worry if your Twitter account doesn’t support the feature yet.

The labels are easily seen as they will appear below the user’s username, and currently Twitter came up with three labels — Author, Mentioned and Following. Author refers to the original individual who posted the tweet, Mentioned refers to the individual who is mentioned in the tweet, and Following refers to the Twitter individual that follows the author.

Twitter also mentioned that they’re welcoming feedbacks for those who get the new feature, so do let them know what you think if you’re one of the lucky few!
