Yeah, you read that right. There’s a phone that wouldn’t let you send nudes, so you won’t regret it down the road. The Tone e20, a phone only available in Japan, uses AI to prevent you from taking naked selfies.

This budget Android phone comes with a 6.26-inch display, a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset and 4GB RAM paired with 64GB storage. It has three cameras on the rear — a 13MP lens, a 12MP sensor and a 2MP lens. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

But the highlight of this phone is its AI software that can detect when you’re taking nude photos. The software will block the photo from being saved to your gallery when it detects nudity, so you can’t take nude selfies or nude photos of others.

The feature is apparently aimed to prevent Japan’s youngsters from making mistakes. This phone can also be connected to another phone so when the Tone e20 is used to take nude photos, the owner of the other phone will be alerted. In short, this would be great for parents who are worried about their children’s social activity.

The Tone e20 is priced at ¥19,800 (about RM750), but since it’s only available in Japan, Malaysian parents will have to think of better ways to prevent their kids from sending nudes.
