As Samsung is about to unveil its next flagship in two weeks time, leaked renders of the Galaxy Note 9 has apparently made its way up to the Internet once again, courtesy of tech site MySmartPrice, who has managed obtain a clear product render and confirm a few things that we know about the phone.
Like its predecessor, the Note 9 is expected to sport the same performance internals of the current generation Galaxy S series with some minor updates, we are expecting it to come with 6GB RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage, the dual cameras on the back should also be similar to the Galaxy S9+, which comes with a wide-angle lens that features dual aperture and fixed aperture telephoto lens, there has also been confirmation that the phone will be powered by a larger 4000mAh battery.
Based on the render, the front face isn’t that different from the Note 8, thought we can expect the frame to come with a matte finish like the Galaxy S9; as for the back, it seems like Samsung is keeping the trusty fingerprint scanner in place instead of using an in-screen fingerprint scanner, the horizontal camera placement is also new and the change is assumed to be an ergonomics concern for reaching the fingerprint scanner. Frankly, the back really looks like an HTC U12+ minus the translucent backcover.
We should expect the rumors and leaks to build up as August 9th arrives, are you excited for the Galaxy Note 9?
