These pictures are taken by the Huawei Mate 9

The Huawei Mate 9 will be launched at Huawei’s Munich event tomorrow, and many of us are having high hopes on nearly every aspect of the Chinese OEM’s upcoming flagship phablet. The company has already released a string of dual camera smartphones this year, and the Mate 9 will be added into the collection as well. Prior to the handset’s unveiling, a Weibo user has uploaded a series of images said to be taken by the Mate 9 itself.

Weibo user Bruce Lee has released several images captured with the Huawei Mate 9 on Chinese micro blogging site Weibo. The album is titled Munich Morning and based on Weibo, it is uploaded from a Huawei device, though it wasn’t specified. The Mate 9 is rumored to pack a 20MP + 12MP dual rear camera configuration, and these pictures are the result of the dual camera setup on the phablet. Judge them yourself:

The Huawei Mate 9 is tipped to sport the company’s brand new impressive Kirin 960 system on chip, 4GB or 6GB of RAM with storage configurations of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The Mate 9’s display is said to be of 1080p resolution at 5.9-inches. A Mate 9 Pro model is rumored to be in the works too, sporting a curved edge display with a higher QHD resolution.
