The vivo X70 series has been launched in China – Priced from about RM2,376

The vivo X70 series has just been launched in its native China – and your options include the vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+.

vivo X70 and X70 Pro

These two models pack a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel that pushes a 120Hz refresh rate along with a punch-hole camera system.

Under the hood, the vivo X70 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset which is a very powerful processor in its own right. The vivo X70 Pro runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1080 instead.

For imaging, the X70 comes with a 40MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and 12MP telephoto camera. These lenses are engineered by ZEISS and are newer compared to the vivo X60 series’ set of lenses. They also come with the ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating that helps reduce glare and chromatic aberration.

The X70 Pro packs a beefier 50MP main shooter, and comes with an extra 8MP sensor. The camera system here comes with vivo’s own V1 ISP that is supposed to improve focusing speed and image quality.

Powering the phones is a 4,400mAh battery for the X70 and a 4,500mAh pack for the X70 Pro. There’s support for up to 44W fast charging.

vivo X70 Pro+

This phone is an entirely different beast compared to its siblings – it packs a Snapdragon 888+ chipset, making it one of the most powerful smartphones to date.

The display here is a large 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel that supports 1440p resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate.

When it comes to cameras, you get a 50MP main shooter that utilizes Samsung’s GN1 sensor; and alongside it is a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP periscope shooter.  You can check out how the X70 Pro+’s cameras perform at night here

The phone runs on a 4,500mAh battery and it has support for up to 55W of fast charging.

Price

The vivo X70 and X70 Pro are priced from CNY3,699 (about RM2,376) and CNY4,299 (about RM2,762) respectively and both will be available in China by the end of September.
