It’s official, the vivo X70 is confirmed to come with ZEISS lenses and Origin OS

If you loved the vivo X60 series that launched earlier this year, you’ll be glad to know that its successor, the vivo X70, is confirmed by the brand to arrive very soon.

On top of that, vivo Malaysia has also unveiled some of its key features ahead of its launch – the big attraction is, of course, the set of ZEISS cameras that made the X60 so popular. The difference this time is that the lenses now sport the ZEISS T coating, which work to minimize lens flare, stray light, and ghosting effects.

There’s still a gimbal system under the hood – this time vivo calls it an ‘ultra-sensing’ system, which apparently allows you take stable, sharp, and bright pictures and videos even in low-light situations.

Also a noteworthy inclusion is Origin OS, which is finally coming to Malaysia; we’ve previously spoke about its features, which include a home screen that is made up entirely of widgets, addition of kinetic wallpapers that react to your real-life actions, faster boot app boot times, and more.

In terms of design, the phone doesn’t look all that different from the X60, but this is just based on the images we see on their website. It will likely look very different in the flesh, and we’re excited to get our hands on the phone.

You can learn more about the vivo X70 here on the brand’s website, or stay tuned on their Facebook page for further updates.
