The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is officially launched, making it the first model of the Galaxy A series to come with 5G support.

The Galaxy A90 5G is no doubt an interesting device, though it is not the first Samsung 5G device — there’s the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 5G. However, we will be expecting it to be cheaper than the 5G models of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.

The Galaxy A90 5G will be getting a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display just like its sibling, the Galaxy A80. But while the A80 has a sliding and rotating camera, the Galaxy A90 will come with its typical U-shaped notch that houses a 32MP selfie camera.

On its rear, this phone has a powerful 48MP camera alongside a 5MP depth sensor and an ultra-wide 8MP lens. Its camera setup is integrated with AI technology such as Super Steady, Scene Optimiser and also Flaw Detector. The front camera also supports Live Focus Mode so capturing selfies with bokeh effect will not be a problem.

Apart from that, the Galaxy A90 5G has a Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is also powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W Super Fast Charging and has a feature known as Game Booster so that you can game on your phone without worrying about its battery life or performance.

The Galaxy A90 5G will be available in Korea from September 4 onwards in two colours — black and white. Samsung has not announced the Galaxy A90 5G’s availability and pricing in other markets.
