Xiaomi has never produced an Android Go smartphone until the Redmi Go that is expected to be released next month in Europe and Philippines.
According to the company, the Redmi Go will feature a 5-inch HD display that supports 720p solution, and it will have no notch with obvious top and bottom bezels.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor with 1GB RAM and 8/16GB storage. However, the memory is expandable with the use of a microSD card and of course, the phone will come with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).
The phone will also come with a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, in addition to a 3000mAh battery. Besides that, the Redmi Go also has dual SIM support but if you’re using a microSD card, you can’t have put the second SIM in.
The last piece of information that we know about the Redmi Go is that it comes in Blue and Black and it’ll be priced around €80. It is unsure if the Redmi Go will be released to other markets other than Europe and Philippines.
