The POCOPHONE F1 will support Quick Charge 4.0

If the specs of the POCOPHONE F1 has already got you hooked, then you will get even more awed with the company’s announcement that it supports Quick Charge 4.0 out of the box. While it is unclear if the POCO F1 already has the charging standard enabled on its current software, there also isn’t much third party QC 4.0 chargers available for purchase yet.

Quick Charge 4 not only juices up your device faster than its predecessor, it also offers better charging efficiency that keeps your device cool while fast charging. Before the POCO F1, QC 4 is only limited to devices such as the HTC U12+, Xiaomi Mi 8 and Razer Phone, with only the latter shipping a QC 4 adapter out of the box.

The POCO F1 has been the top hit among smartphone buyers due to its affordability and powerful specs sheet, even though it got criticized for some optimization and compatibility issues, its combo hardware internals of a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for less than RM1500 makes it extremely difficult to ignore. After SST, the phone currently retails for RM1299 for the 6GB+64GB model and 1499 for the 6GB+128GB model.
