When the Nokia 6 was announced, many old time fans were definitely driven nuts upon hearing the once well known household name in the mobile phone industry. The Nokia branding has finally been revived again, thanks to Chinese manufacturer HMD Global. The company has also reached new heights through the first ever flash sale for the Nokia 6. According to Chinese news outlet An Zhuo, the Nokia 6 flash sale ended in a jiffy after the units were sold out in just a minute.
We are not sure what were the rest of the figures like for the Nokia 6 flash sale, such as the number of units sold, but HMD Global will definitely be stocking up on the Nokia 6 shipments for the next round of flash sales. Speaking of which, An Zhuo has also reported more than a million people pre-registering for the device on JD.com, a Chinese online retailer website. Looks like the hype for Nokia is definitely not to be overlooked.
The Nokia 6 is surprisingly well received despite it not having flagship specs – a Snapdragon 430 chipset with 4GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch display at Full HD resolution, and a 16MP/8MP pair of rear and front cameras respectively. Given the fact that the handset was sold in under such a short time, we would expect the same kind of record being set by HMD Global and Nokia in the next flash sale. What do you think?
