The new iPads were shown off at Apple’s Education conference which has been updated to come with an A10 processor and support for the Apple Pencil. After the launch, Apple Malaysia website has been updated to include the new iPads and pricing as well.
The new iPads come with a 9.7-inch retina display and support for Touch ID as well as Augmented Reality. The only difference is the storage and cellular connection, one coming with 32GB storage and the second variant comes with a 128GB storage, both will have cellular connection as an option. When it comes to pricing, Apple has placed a fair price on the devices with the 32GB variant priced at RM1449 and RM1999 for the cellular version, while the 128GB has a price tag of RM1849 and RM2399 for the cellular model. Both these variants will come with iOS 11 out of the box.
Apple’s Malaysia website has not indicated when the iPads will be made available and simply listed it as Coming Soon.
