LeEco (formerly known as LeTV) has been making impressive handsets in its homebase and we have been seeing them walking the steps of competitors Xiaomi and Meizu, the company is set to host an event on 21 September to announce its new products and one of its flagship smartphones has been leaked ahead of the launch. The LePro 3 is an extremely powerful smartphone on paper and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, it is being offered in standard and premium variants, which differs in hardware offerings, the standard variant of the LePro 3 will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 6GB RAM, 64GB of storage, a 16-megapixel main and 8-megapixel front camera, and a 4070mAh battery. If you opt for the premium LePro 3, you get upgraded to a larger 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage, a dual 13-megapixel main camera and 16-megapixel front camera, and a 5000mAh battery, which is a significant specs bump from the standard variant.
Apart from its flagship specs, the LePro 3 seems to be a looker as well, as the leaked slides explains that the phone has a polished brush metal chassis and a 2.5D curved glass on its display. In terms of pricing, the leaked slides merely teased a RMB2X99 and RMB3X99 price for the standard and premium variant respectively, even if we were to assume the X to be an 8 or 9, that translates to around RM1850 and RM2459, which is darn affordable for the killer specs the phone has. The LePro 3 will be launched in China next week, how we wished LeEco would made its presence available here.
